Saw the EP3 one and thought it was a cool idea so i think ima get things started

Dashboard is a bitch to clean.

Leather seats suck after 1 hour of driving.

AC turns on when you put the defrosters on, but i found a way to at least turn it off.

No Armrest

And that little pouch thing right next to the ebrake that has the rubber thing at the bottom is a bitch to clean.

1. how about that little stream of water that flows down from the side mirrors after a car wash
tip: stuff a piece of paper towel where the water comes from and leave as long as possible.

2. my paint job has sucked from day one. hazy stripes appear to be under the clearcoat and are seen in direct sunlight. it looks like if someone dried the car with oily rags

i love the way my car looks on overcast days or sundown

 

(1) The rear passenger seat is seperated by this center crap and I think its just a waste of space whereares you can only sit two in the back instead of three.

(2) When you install CAI (Injen) , you'll notice that the windshield wiper fluid reservoir is right on top of the filter which to me is really annoying.

(3) No handle bar for the rear passenger as well as none for the front.

(4) The sunroof operator switch is only on the driver side unlike the EP3 (in the middle ) I personally think it could lead to something bad.

 

- how you can't have the windows open AT ALL if it's even slightly raining, otherwise you get flooded

- that dash is SUCH a bitch to clean

- the ac/defrost problem is no more in the 05, thank god

- the windshield did rattle, but i replaced mine after a rock cracked it, and now its gone

- the cd changer automatically ejects the cd you last played, rather than give you an option of which one to eject.


that's all i can think of for now...

Same here. I got the hazy look + chipping already, and i only have an '04

 

- Too much road noise even the car is full of sound deadening

- ac/defrost

- dash board rattles

- door panels material should of used vinyl instead of that hard plastic

- no arm rest

- leather quality sucks

-seats are uncomfortable on long trips

- sunroof doesn't have a true tilt feature

- the rear hatch cover is a b*tch to remove

- oil filter is a hard to get to

- rear seat center plastic piece is useless

- pocket near the e-brake is usesless

- rear pillar is designed awkward when people sit in the rear they keep hitting their head on it.

 

all the little misc. trattles (dash, glove box, center console, and something under the passenger seat)

road noise

takes a while to warm up

they should of done duoble wishbone all around

.....but i still love my car

i know!!!! what gives with the shitty paint job? my boss fought tooth and nail and was able to return her NBP Honda Pilot cuz she had the same sucky paint job. i tried to complain at first, but the dealer started to give me the runaround so i gave up. guess i should've presued it more.

Yup... plus:

- I didn't want a sunroof

- I didn't want leather

- I didn't want rattles after 50 miles

Oh, one more ... White wasn't available with black interior. Though I am happy with the VBP

 

You guys bitch too much, either that or my car never had any of your problems you guys say. How is the dash hard to clean?? And if you dont like some of the features on the car, then why did you buy it?

who cleans a car at the dealership?

"uh, excuse me, in addition to test driving, do you think i could wipe down the dash... maybe vaccuum a little?"

 

I personally think they should have put an intermittent rear wiper or at least have that option. Sometimes the rear glass will not be flooded with water.

 

I dont see what is hard about cleaning the dash? You wipe it down like anything else. I recently started using the Swifter dash cleaner, and you just run it over any surface of the dash and vio-la! Its clean in less then 20 seconds. You people just bitch and complan too much. Reach down and lift up your skirts and grab your nuts, then grab a rag and clean the dash, bunch of bitching little Nancy-boys i swear.

 

you know what it was that happened? whatever rag or towel youre using usually gets the indented part of the dash covered in lint.. that's the part i hate. other than that, it's fine. i'll try the swiffer thing though.

there's some cleaning agent that's available from honda that works too, but i forgot the name of it.

 

i use a lint free cloth for cleaning the interior before i started using the Swifter thing.

Yeah i agree the leather quality could have been better. And also the thin gthat annoys me the most is when you hit the auto up button the window will go up halfway and then stop and go back down. I kno wof 8 people with this problem. I got the module replaced it worked for about a month an dthen it started happening again. It suck to have auto up and you have to hold the button just to make it go all the way up.

really hated the plastic thing in the back seat.

 

everyone complains that the little slot near the ebrake is useless... i keep my cell phone there. but i have a shitty one that you get for free with the plan, i guess the flip phones wouldnt fit

dude, that happens with my windows too! so this is a problem that many people have? i thought i was the only one...

i got a fix for the stream of water thing. -open the doors and pull back the little plastic gasket that surrounds the plastic part of the mirror. when u do that all of the trapped water will come out.

 

I love the little compartment next to the e brake. All my change is in there. I have a flip phone and its fits fine. Since its rubber on the bottom the change doesnt slide or rattle. A vacuum with a narrow tip/adapter cleans it fine. My annoyances with the car...

1. The rattles. My dashboard rattles like a mother ******, especially on the free way.

2. When ever im turning through dips or going into driveways the car flexes like crazy and i hear loud pops (dashboard windshield area). Im hopin some strut tower bars will help fix this.

3. Dont like the rubbery plastic on the arm rest part of the doors.

4. 3 people in the back would be nice

One and Two are the only ones that REALLY bother me. Others are no big deal but i figured worth mentioning. The pros out weigh it though and i simply love my car. The seats can get uncomfortable and the leather is a little thin on the padding under your ***. But hey the seats is something i was able to try out when i bought my car, so cant really complain about that. I just wish i knew more about all the "noises" the car makes. Either way the DC5 is one great Honda, i plan on driven this sucka to ground, rattles or not.

 

i wonder why the passanger side control doesn't have an automatic up? i hated that.
