can someone tell me why my 95LX is 130hp and 93EX is 140hp?
so yeah just like the title says "can someone tell me why my 95LX is 130hp and 93EX is 140hp" is there a way I can get that 10hp too?
the motors are different.....you have a non-vtec f22b2, while the 93 has a non-vtec f22a6..the difference is in cam design, fuel maps, etc....there are lots of ways to make 10 more hp at the crank for your engine...most bolt ons will do that...but rmember you only gonna get a few of those to the wheels.....ovbiously you have a lot to learn
I'll bet you could get more than 10 to the crank with bolt-ons. You'd need every one of them, but still... you could.
...You'd probably be paying more than $100 per hp. But doable

other than the difference in cam design the f22a6 has butterflys that are vaccum operated and open at higher RPM's to allow more air into the engine . . . more performance oriented (actually the f22a6 was teh best engine ever put into an accord that isnt a v6 IMO), the exhaust manifold on the f22b2 sucks, and the f22a6 has a 4-2-1 manifold that comes very close to looking like a header
