kumhos avs or fuzion zri??!!
i cant seem to decide. fuzion is $60 and kumhos are $67 or something like that. the size is 205/55/15. it looks like the fuzion is better in almost every category... except treadwear, where the fuzion is rated at 320 while the kumhos r rated 420.
that's pretty significant in treadwear, since i don't drive really race my car or n e thign, and i cant get any touring tires in that size or 195/55/15. Need some opinions. thanks

they're $78 for the 205/55/15 from tire rack. but for some reason, the 195/55/15 are only $61. For that price difference, i probably would have went with the 195.
Also.. according to customer reviews, the fuzion is ranked better in every category, even treadwear, so i believe the fuzion would be a better buy. They are $61 for the 205/55/15... 2nd cheapest on tirerack.
N e ideas how many miles it will last me. I think i can get around 50k on them if my alignment is perfect. the treadwear rating is 320. My old tires, federal supersteel, their treadwear rating is 240 and i got around 40k on those.

I currently am rocking the 205/50/15 AVS ES100s.. on my 2nd set actually. I love these tires! Treadwear is a bit poor though, but then again im dropped pretty low and camber was about 2.5 degrees. The tires lasted me about a year, which is about 20k miles. Take account for weekend mountain driving, and occasional drag races.

as for the kumho asx, my friend has those on his GSR. Treadwear is great on those.. but the compound isn't exactly the stickiest.
both tires are actually pretty good, just depending on how much u want to pay u can't make a wrong choice. Although if u want your tires to last long, the asx seems to be the choice, has some major treadware there.. AVS ES100 is good but the treadlife is very poor, so if u don't want to change tires that fast get the asx.
The correct size for 15 with a width of 205 is 205/50/15.

I'd also recommend looking into the ES100's maybe a little more. I currently have 195/55/15 ES100s and I'm satisified

I dont' want to go any lower. 205/55/15 should fit on stock SI rims though right?
