Default JUST BOUGHT A NEW ACCORD!!!! Couple of Questions....

Hey guys... i just picked up a 01 coupe, its beautiful, but i got a couple of questions; one is the clock on the dashboard supposed to light up? Mine doesent is that a burnt out led somewhere there.... and the seccond question being is for anyone who installed a system in their car, on my old 96 i just went trough where the clutch would be... This is a stick so the clutch hole is taken up... Where can i drill trough safetly and kind of easy access to guide the 12v line.

The clock on all 6gens are always freaking out. It's just an odd problem the accord has. As for the power wire, there is a rubber grommet above the clutch pedal. Go through that.

I just went under the car with a 4 guage wire and drilled a hole where the spare tire is the plenty of places to run the wire under the car.

Yup the 6th gen Accords have that clock light problem. Just go buy a replacement part at the dealer I think its around $3. Maybe you can find one at your local auto parts store for cheaper. The clock is easy to take off. Just stick a flat head screwdriver or something similiar on the bottom of the clock and pry off. Be gentle though

Watch out for the spring behind the emergency flasher button. The first time I changed the clock light in my 99 the spring fell out and behind the HVAC and radio. It took 2 minutes to change the bulb and 2 hours to find that damn spring.
