Default Stripping a set of Rota Slips..questions

If I have a set of Rota Slipstreams in Flat Black, could I have them sandblasted and then wet sand and buff to get a polished slip stream look? Or does it not work like that...anyone know or have insite on this?

You should ask this question in the wheel and tire forum. You may get more responses. Why not try to find someone that will trade flat black for polish black and save yourself the hassle

i dont know how these things are on the metal, but i had some fat fives sprayed flat black and i just got a big gallon of aircraft paint stripper. do it in the sun. apply that goo **** all over and sit back and watch the pint blister and bubble. afterwards, rinse off with a hose. looked polished on mine, but taking acount that they are shiny to begin with. be careful about getting that **** on yourself, burns like a mo' fo'

They are already polished underneath. I stripped a set of black ones before. If you can get everything off, with just chemicals, then you won't have to go through the trouble of polishing anything. It's already done for you.
