My 90 accord drivers side glass is scratched on the outside from traveling up and down but i cannot see anything that scapes the glass. I noticed all junkyard cars have the same thing. Anybody have a clue?

spray some lubricant down the window tracks...
you can also make adjustments to the window rails (not sure that's the correct term...), in case the window might be "leaning" slightly towards the front or back
