weight of b18b flywheel?
18 lbs. I've heard that you shouldn't take it down to under 14lbs for safety reasons. If you want to have a safe 2-3 lbs weight reduction, you can go with the ITR flywheel.

After lightening my own OEM flywheel to 11lbs, I decided it was not a good idea. While I never had any failure with mine, you shouldn't take an OE flywheel down to that lightness. Tak. is right, 14lbs at most. If you want super light weight, buy and aftermarket one that is chromoly.

Only 18 pounds? I was surprised how heavy my flywheel was compared to the fidanza I put on yesterday.
I would just pick up a good am flywheel, an 8lb wheel actually isn't that bad. I thought it would of been worse from all the things I heard on here about them.

Those are both exedy clutche's the first one is just an OEM replacement clutch the second one is a stage 1 racing clutch. I know because I just got through putting mine in about 2 hours ago with the exedy chromoly 9.5 pound flywheel. The flywheel make's alot of diffarence if you ask me better throttle responce and quicker acceleration. I would'nt recomend cutting hole's in your stock one though.

I got mine off ebay and I paid $432 for the flywheel and clutch kit but do to low funds I had to go with the oem replacement clutch but as I took out my old clutch wich was the stock one I realized that the exedy clutch was still much better qaulity.I went with the 9.5 chromeoly fly wheelthough I heard that alluminum fly wheel's tend to worp after a while from the heat.Just what I have heard not sure on that though.
