this is thhe situation my friend hsa a 91 dx hatch back he just did a jdm B16 swap the car starts but you have to keep turning and turning it over he took out the gas tank because it had old gas from the car sitting for a while then when it finnally starts it idles funny do you think that it is the timing or maybe can it be from when he took the tank out and it lost pressure or what.can you guys give us some help ?

could be anything as you described it.
- timing would make it run rough
- so would really bad fuel but thats hard to come by
- if it stays running for more than a minute the fuel pump is probably ok.


#1 - wiring could be jacked and that's usually what we find.
How did the MPFI swap go? what did you do wrong?

did you buy a harness, have it converted, or just did it yourself?

ever do a MPFI before?

is the LED throwing any codes on the ECU?
