Default Power Washed engine bay 4 days ago and cel randomly comes on and goes away

So i washed my engine bay with a steam cleaner... but friend works at a car dealership and this is what he does with the cars at the dealership... we were extra careful when we did it, we covered the dizzy, hid ballasts, injectors, and the fuse box.... Now it throws cel's and goes away when i turn off the car.... then 3 days later i was driving it a litte hard and it came on and went away again... any ideaS?

See if the inside of your dizzy got wet. make sure theres no moisture in it. This can cause a code some times, and even worse keep your car from starting.

Water on any other part of your car would have evaporated or will evaporate, but water in your Distributor will have a longer and more potent effect

Could have possibly gotten water somewhere in the o2 sensor because my car has the same problem im driving and when i hit vtec the check engine light flashes and goes away and driving it for long time the check engine light comes on then i try to jump the ecu but the light doesn't on. I put a stock p28 in and my car runs rich so it clogs the o2 sensor and its throwing code 41 primary o2 sensor heater. So i gotta change that. But good luck.
