1999 Accord lx auto to manny swap......HELP!!
I have a 99 accord lx sedan that is auto and i hate it. I need to know what tranny will DIRECTLY bolt up to it because i want to do it myself. If you think this is a bad idea or have hat experience with this please post and let me know. I had the differential and the casing on the tranny go out at about 57k and had to pay 2600 to fix it. Just let me know and visit my site....vote and sign da guestbook!

Woah. I have never seen lambo doors on an accord 4dr before.
Do a quick search and you will find out that the auto to manual in a 6th gen as been done before. I belive Klutch444 (sp?) created a topic regarding this matter.
As far as tranny, I would assume any F or H series would do. But it's not as simple as bolting the tranny up. You need to worry about shiftlinkage, pedal, clutch maste/slave cylinder, wiring so that the reverse bulb will light up, etc.
