ok today while i was on the toilet i came up with this idea on a intake manifold. now wouldn't this concept be the best way to get almost an equal amount of air to all cylinders. kind of like itbs but with still 1 throttle body. remember this is just a thought give me your opinions and heres some concept pics

It reminds me of a V8 design or something like that. Carbureter configuration they have a carbureter called the "Predeator" and all it does is just dump massage amounts of fuel into the head. It reminds me of that sort of. Don't ask how I know about that particular carbureter, hanging out with V8 guys sometimes rubs off on you. I can't spell tonight.

I've seen it done with the top on an angle so hood clearance isn't an issue. The distribution is still an issue as the center two still want to flow better than the outers. The end mounted tb isn't really a bad set-up.

thats cool it was just a thought but i wonder how did the manifold perform over the stock manifold

Your basic idea is similar to what Tony the Tiger did on his Integra. He has ITB's with a turbo setup and has a custom manifold kinda thing with the intake going in the back/center manifold. I cant explain but the pics should show you

yeah thats what i was thinking of but that car has a turbo on it. it looks pretty well hidden i don't even see the turbo lines
there is alot more little things that will make you more power such as proper plenum size and shape, as well as runner length, you will gain alot more by being able to tune the resonance in the runners then air inlet position, the position of the TB one the side is fine inless you can prove thare is a better why
