go with differant pistons.
like JDM ITRs, or P30's .
heres why:

yea i read that whole form before, but i still got the ctr's and they are already installed on the rods.. just waiting for bearings and rod bolts

What? I run CTRs with 93 octane and STOCK timing. (Ran on 91 octane back home in AZ when I was there...) No detonation, no pinging... runs great. 190WHP

Its kind of a shitty piston design.
If you can get higher compression by using a piston with out as much of a ridicoulus large dome youll make more power....
its about quench
-s

I would only run the BC4's if you're revvin high, and if you're gonna rev high then I wouldn't do the Omni valvetrain. They have a pretty mild spring preasure...big camshafts and high rpm's don't get along real well with a light spring preasure. I would suggest RM gen 1's , they have more seat preasure than the gen 2's and will accomadate that cam profile and high high rpms. Good luck man

Contact Rocket, he's a way cool guy and is VERY honest with his products and even his competition. I believe Tbone runs the gen 1 springs. I know for sure he runs them, just not sure if they are the gen 1 or 2's.
How are those buddy clubs spec 4 cams? Are they any good? I'm planning to go with the same cams and cam gears. Any info would help thanks.
I personally would run the M22's. Allot of people underestimate this camshaft. I think people assume that because it's Rocket's smallest cam that it is comparable to a S2S1 or something. They have allot of duration, I have the cams in my room right now and the lobes are wider than my thumb
I'm personally building a B16B and since I have the r/s ratio, I wanted a camshaft that would build power high, so i went with the big duration of the M22. My roomate is building a ls/vtec similar to yours and he opted for the S2 Pro 1's because they have allot of lift, but not so much duration. they build power early, so you don't need to rev to the moon to get your power. personally I think the m24e's would be over camming it. Not to say your motor is mild by any means, but M24e's are way way big.....bigger than a BC4 for sure. OH, and BTW.......Tbone runs the RM gen 2 springs, so that tells you right there how well designed and made they are!

pm sent ....
yea i noticed they are bigger than everything almost.. and i dont really mind reving high to get power.. at first i wanted to go with the m25 cuase ihtough bigger was beter but not really with thses cams, i didn't kow how big they really were till i seen them read about them some... for the next build im deffenetly using the m25e's
...yea it was either the rocket springs and retainers or the rm gen 2's so idk yet, i was looking in to the omni at first but i think they're to soft for these cams....

i dont think they are over camming it at all ...when i was going to buld my 13.5:1 B series ...from talking to rocket he actaully recommended the M24x's which are bigger than the M24e's ... Tbone when he had 13.5:1 comp. he dyno'ed the M24e's and put down 230WHP ...and with the Sks3's i think if i remember correctly he put down 238WHP im not positive ...i asked rocket about the m25 and the M25e's and he said the compression you would need to get the max power out of them would be somewhere in the area of 14 to 15+ comp. ... but talk to rocket he is the one that knows whats best and he can put you on the right path ...
