I can't believe that they can have control of there body and control the car with the forces that are put on there body. Must be insane to even go 200 mph in the 1/4.

Regarding the G load brought up previously... I remember seeing a thing on TV about it. I believe it was 5 or 6 accelerating and 6 to 8 deccelerating with the chutes.
The Jet Dragsters arent faster then the Top Fuelers...
They do feel more Gs under decell.. matter of fact, I cant remember which racer, but one of them had to have eye surgery cause his cornia and retina detached from eachother because of decell Gs.

I'm pretty sure the jet dragsters are faster than the Top fuelers... there is a difference between fast and quick. Does anyone know what a jet dragster does for MPH?
Heres a pretty good list I found of Jet Dragster recorded times.. at a quick glance the highes MPH I found was 320 with a ET of 4.9.

They have actually measured it. When two Top Fuel dragsters leave the line it measures around 6 on the rictor (sp) scale. Also they leave the line at 4g's and accelerate to over 9g's, but when they pull the shutte at the end of the track it's negative 11+g's. Thats more of the reason they're heads are strapped to the seat.

Fastest recorded speed i believe was 337.63 I saw it somewhere this weekend.
Mini Earthquake...YES. It was the most amazing thing i have ever fealt. It was my first time with the Top Fuel cars and Holy ****. Most sobering thing i have ever seen.
Mulletts - Rebel Flags - And Git-R-Dun shirts seemed to be the common uniforms of the crowd.
