Default crx b series axel problem.

i have a b series swap in my crx and that my driver side axel boot is leakin grease all over my engine and when i go to do my daily driving it sounds like my wheels are peelin out. thats the best way i can describe the sound. it does it for like 2 seconds and then it stops. until i go to engage in 1st gear again. BASICALLY i guess my question is..is it the axel boot that is making that noise or something else. any input will be helpful thanks.

the boot....will make more of crunching "klunk"noise...
a peeling out noise...might be a hub bearing.....wiggle your wheel and see if it's "loose"

check your alt. belt. if its making that sound its your alt. belt. it just might loose and needs to tightened. if its the axles you would hear tumping noise when you make a turn. this would be broken axle. but you said it leaking grease all over so you need to replace the boot or the whole axle.

do like these guys said and check all the little stuff like belts and other possible loose things then if the problem consists then pull the axle out and check your seals and if they look good.....buy another axle.....150 bucks at autozone with lifetime warrenty.....its money well spent in the end.....soorry bout yur car man....
