Default Integra pulls to the right under acceleration?

94 GSR - The car pulls to the right under hard throttle, then jumps back left after I get off the gas.

This happens in any gear and is more noticable in the lower gears. The car tracks perfectly straight under steady throttle and braking. The alignment is fine, tire pressure is equal, motor mounts are fine. I changed the passenger side tie rod end as there was some play in it. I also changed the passenger side axle. There is no noticable play in either front wheel.

Any ideas on this?

Justin

your LSD could be slightly out of alignment perhaps?
have you gotten an alignment recently?

your castor is off. you need to get the car religned. Anytime you remove parts on the suspension, the alignment: camber, castor, toe-in, and toe-out are put out of specs.

Caster is not adjustable on this car and I do not have an LSD.

My question is.. how could this be an alignment problem if - as I said - the car tracks perfectly straight under cruise and braking?

its called torque steer....

a common symptom of fwd cars
this is cause by your axles being different lengths and/or angles

i doubt your axles got any longer or shorter...
so, your ride height has probably changed on one side, which would cause your axles to be at a different angle. Even a bald tire on one side and a new one on the other could cause this. A very common cause is tire pressure being lower on one side. But that would cause a pull in other situations also, not just acceleration. Measure your tire to fender gap on the fronts, see if theres a difference.

an aftermarket lsd would fix your problem regardless of those factors

not trying to make you sound stupid just explaining carefully.

edit: didnt even see you check motor mounts and tire pressures, just measure ride height on each side

You may check your springs to insure they are seated properly in the struts. If one is not set properly (off 1/2 inch or so)it will cause this issue as well....ask me how I know

mine pulls to the right on hard acceleration in first and second and when i downshift it pulls left on deceleration. I havent noticed it before but it may have been there all along. there is no play in the steering at all and the alignment seems to be fine when driving down the hwy.

any clue?
