Default Spring question for swapped civics

I see a few springs offered for 96-00 civics and 99-00 si are different. I can't think of any reason other than the 99-00 si having a little heavier motor?

I'm just wondering since I'm in the market for new springs and I've got a b series in my 96 hb.

Thanks guys..

the 99-00 si was the only year a B series engine was provided out of the factory.

Yes, I realize that. My question is -

Is that the reason some manufacturers provide a different part number for springs for 96-00 Civics and 99-00 Civic Si? Maybe stiffer up front, etc?
