hey all, theres like a chirping noise my 93 LS auto is making whenever it idles and I hear it again when i'm slowly accelerating from a stand still. I'm pretty sure its nothin major but I just wanted to see if you all new the way to fix the problem whether it be a loose belt or dust, thanks again all.

does it increase with engine speed? is your car a manual? if so, it might be your release/throwout bearing

 

hey, no it does'nt increase with acceleration, its only there when I slowly go from a stop till I hit about 10 mph and when i'm idleing, its an automatic tranny. Thanks

How many miles do you have on it? iceburgslim has a good point, it might be time to change the belts.

 

I bet belts too.. ot pullies need lube???
