Default Motor placment/Axle geometry?

Alright out with the old in with the new, its K time

I am putting a K20 in my CRX and I was originally going to use the hasports but I have ran across somebody who can make me high quality custom mounts
Now this sounds great to me cause we can get the axle to be straight and position the motor how we want it.

Here is were my questions are.
I would like to know what I should look at in order to get the best mount placment?
Straigh axles?
motor forward?
Tilted?

How would any of this affect the car if I took it out Auto-X once in awhile?
This is the first time I have felt like a newb

You would want the axles at straight as possible on the vertical and horizontal plane. To optimize weight over the front wheels. You will want the center of gravity of the motor to be over the front wheels also.

Its all about shiming the motor to get it lined up perfectly before you start welding up mounts.
