Default questions about a d16y7 in a crx hf

ok i have a crx hf i just got a y7 for really cheap
i have a few questions about this setup

1. can i use a A6 intake and ex manifolds so i dont have to convert to odb2? and use the A6 ECU?

2. can i use a 91 si tranny on this motor? if so what do i need if anything?

3. i can get a b16 stroker kit fairly cheap it makes a b16 a 2.0 is there any way to use this in the d16 to make it a 2.0?

any help would be super cool

TIA

1. Yes you can use the A6 IM and EM and a6 ecu on the y7. d16 parts are all interchangeable.

2. Yes. Basically all you need is another person because its a bitch swapping in trannies yourself. A helms manual helps, but its pretty straightforward.

3. No

#3......no way man, the d series bore is only 75mm vs the 81mm bore of the b16. yes they are both 1.6L but one is due to bore(b16) and the other is due to stroke(d16).......the crank would not work at all, and the stroker b16 rods would probably be around the same length as the stock d16 rods, and the pistons for the kit would probably be around 83+mm which i really dont think you can even sleeve a 75mm stock bore to 83mm........best of luck man

You can machine LS rodsto fit in your D16 since they are the same length but there is no point for all motor purposes.
