Those with a LS/VTEC motor in a EF hatch
What hood do you use? It seems that my LS/VTEC motor is too tall for the stock hood to fit. Do I need to use a carbon fiber hood? If so, which one?

What he said... the vis hood bumps up like a jdm hood but fits our usdm front ends, or you can also use some spacers to raise the back of the hood if you don't want to cut it. I got some 1/4" nylon spacers at home depot. Kinda ghetto, but works and doesn't look too bad. IM me your email address and I'll send you a few pics if you want to see what it looks like. Don't have the images hosted anywhere right now.

what mounts kits are you using?
Ive heard of people using washers for the hood. And ive also heard of people using washers on the mounts.

i used yonaka mounts and a stocker hood. no washers or anything. i just had to make one nickel-sized dent in the webbing.
try the washers first, then if you have to, try denting/cutting the webbing.
