Smoking after transmission fluid change
Car is smoking from under the hood. I just changed my transmission oil a week ago. I read that it is normal for it to burn off the excess oil. but how long does this take? i only notice it when I am parked idling, smoke will start to rise from under the hood. Is this normal? anything I could / should do????
need to know exactly where smokes are coming from
need more detail from you
it could be oil spills and oil leaks, coolant leaks somewhere,
INSPECTING WHERE THE SMOKES ARE COMING FROM IS VERY IMPORTANT
do this...turn on your car from a cold start...pop up the hood....and then stand and observing your engine bay until engine warmed up or smokes start to vaporize
