Default P30 Pistons on LS question

I read through the archives about p30 pistons. Im rebuilding my ls and thinking of purchasing p30 pistons, the info i got is that it would raise my compression to 11:1.
Would it be alright to use stock rods, gaskets with no problems for daily driving?
Would it be necessary to honed the block? Last insite is that im going to get p30 pistons, ARP rod bolts, valve springs and retainers. ? ??

Stock rods, seals, gaskets, etc will all be fine, but do invest in the ARP rod bolts.

And yes, get the block honed.

Shotpeening the rods won't safely increase the revving capability of the motor. In order to do so properly, have it balanced. Plus the stock cams are rather anemic at high engine speeds anyway, so plan on cams and springs at the least.

So i shouldnt replace the gaskets, rods, seals, etc...? All that needs to be done is get the block honed and ARP rod bolts? i have already gotten my gaskets and seals replaced about at 150k but the valve springs and retainers have 160+k on it should i replace it ?

Yes, replace the gaskets, seals, etc. I was just stating that OEM (also known as "stock") parts will be fine.

I'm going with p30 pistons and Crower 404's w/ matching dual valve springs and titanium retainers

good luck on your setup, make sure you have the car tuned, makes a world of difference.
