4th Gen balljoints or bushings first?
I don't have enough money to do both at the same time so it's one or the other. Time period between getting the money for both would take too long and the car is pretty shot suspension wise now. Balljoints I'd get from autozone and bushings I'd get from energy suspension. TIA
how many miles your car get? in terms of suspension importance, ball joints win. bad ball joints can snap and send the wheel into the fender well causing some bad things. the only thing bad bushings will do is make the car ride uncomfortably and maybe creak a little.
if anything, get the lower ball joints. they have the most stress put on them. you could then just get the control arm bushings since they get the most abuse out of all bushings.
if you do buy any bushings though be prepared for a tough job. taking it to a shop is expensive and if you do it yourself without a press, the bushings can be a bitch. also, expect bolts to snap.
