I bought my sister a 93 lx with a bad tranny. I think its a 1.6 non vtec. I have a tranny for a vx, wich is 1.5 vtec. I also have a 97 tranny from the d16y7 wich is 1.6 non vtec. Will either of these work? I am thinking the 97 cx tranny will work, but was unsure. Thanks. Also if you know of a link were i can find out everything needed to put a b18c1 into my cx hatch thated be awsome!

 

are you talking about 5-speed or automatic??, any d-series transmission will bolt on a d-series block. however, the wiring and sensors are different from certain years.

If it is a 5-speed: it will be ok.

 

yeah its a 5-speed i heard somwere the vtec trannys were different on the pilot shaft or somthing but if either will work thats great. thanks
