I've always wanted a Borla exhaust for my 5th gen, but unfortunately Borla isn't being nice about it.

I hear that. I was tempted to go with a borla muffler and custom piping but I instead went with a magnaflow muffler and custom piping which still sounds good, but...

Personally i have a 4th generation with a borla muffler since they don't make the whole exhaust and custom piping and it sounds GREAT. I just love the sound. I would really reccomend this to anyone so yes go and buy it!

Prices aren't bad either. I've been looking to replace my N1 with something that will be a little more quiet, but still SS and good looking. Those of you that have hear Borla mufflers before, quieter than an N1? Their "boomer" series cans look nice.

Yes they are quieter. You pretty much don't hear them but if you take out the cat and the resonartor it sound abit more but still sounds very nice.

Mainly I'm looking for quieter, I like the sound of the N1, it's just too loud. I have a res, but no cat, 2.5" pipe. Maybe a high flow cat would be a better way to go, should muffle some sound and I won't be poluting as badly.
