in the FAQ you will find this link:
http://mirror.rivendel.nu/crxc...f.pdf

In with your tire tools there should be a wrench to help close it..
There is a plug in the headliner you remove, then stick the tool
in and close manually..

The sunroof on my 88 CRX Si had the same problem. I took the sunroof apart to find that a plastic part had broken. It's the plastic piece that is integrated with the sunroof cable assembly that connects to the metal lift up link. That's the part that tilts the sunroof panel up and down. To remove the sunroof, you have to remove the headliner first. Then it's just a matter of disconnecting the drain tubes and removing a few screws and bolts. After that, you need to remove the panel from the assembly to get to the part. I replaced the entire cable assembly, which include the broken plastic piece, with one off of a sunroof that I bought from someone who wrecked his car. The entire repair took me about an hour. Good luck, and get a repair manual if you can. It helped me a lot.
