Car dies on the highway and now will not start. -help
1990 Integra GS
I was driving on the highway going 75 and then the engine light came on. 2 seconds after that the oil light came on. I lost power, and the rpm went down to about 2k, but the motor did not shut off until I pulled over and shut it off myself. It will turn over good, but not start.
I checked all the accessory belts, the oil level, coolant, and a quick visual check of the bay and everything seems fine.
Anyone know what I can check/do to get the car going again? This is my DD so I need it as soon as possible. TIA.

I checked the groupnds, but I think it could be the fuel pump just because the car slowed down alot. If the pump went out, the remaining pressure would cause the car to slow, and then after i shut it off, no pressure would be left, or flow to restart. Im gonna go check the codes now.
Can I get to the fuel pump without dropping the tank in a gen2?

If the t/belt snapped, the engine would have cut out straight away with a big clunking noise (pistons hitting + bending valves)
Check out the fuel pump relay too, they give trouble. Its usually located near to the fuse box inside the car...although they usually sorta half work when they're starting to die, car starts sometimes and not others, but worth a look

If you turn he key to the "on" position, you should hear the fuel pump kick on.
Also, Ive seen bad coils and ignitors still throw a spark, but its really weak- Just a heads up..
