Cracked water pump :(

Default Cracked water pump :(

Hey im 90% sure tha tmy waterpump is cracked. my car has 131k and i think teh guy who changed the timing belt did not change the waterpump at 90k (maybe he did im not sure).. I warmed up my car the other day for 10 minutes and come outside to coolant leaking from engine.. there is a big pool of it

radiator is not leaking, because its brand new and it was towards the middle of the engine bay


I have to get it towed correct? anyone have nay ideas because my car is soo low..???


Just called alocal trusty mechanic.. he said 275 for the labor PLUS THE PARTS...

WHERE CAN I BUY THE PARTS?

btw the car didn't turn off, i turned it off as soon as i saw coolant leaking

so timing belt is not broke


and the valves rn't bent or

depending how bad the leak is, you can drive for some distance. Maybe load up on some water and go bar hopping on the way home to let it cool off between each hop. Could be a bad seal on the pump, or a cracked hose on the back of then engine. Good luck.
