Default 3rd gen tailights in a 2nd gen

has anybody done this i searched and cant find anything i want to do this swap but im wondering how much custom work its going to need

my buddy had a friend who did this to his car. it actually didn't look that bad..

when he opened his rear hatch i saw that he did have to do some cutting and work some bondo in there..

im not exactly sure how he bolted them down, but overall it looked like a decent fit IMO.

well because its unique it would look sweet imo 3rd gens have the nicest tails and 2nd gens have the nicest front ends besides jdm

did i mention it would look sweet

bump does anybody know anything about this i wanna try it myself and then have it painted some tips would be nice

I had thought about it at one time, but if you look, the tail lights are shaped a pretty different. I'm a bigger fan of the g2 red and clears, but I'm sure this, just as anything, is possible with enough money.
