Okay, I was about to pick up a leather interior this Sunday and I was just told that it came from a GS.
Is there a difference between GSR and GS leather seats in 1998?
If anyone has pictures of GS-R leathers or non GS-R leathers, that would be awesome. Thanks again guys. I know this is my second post about these seats and I appreciate all the help.

 

someone here posted about the GS-R seats having a more pronounced bolsters on the fronts to keep you from sliding.
Can PLEASE someone confirm this?

 

All integra seat are the same.

 

I switched to Del Sol Seats, and I love them!

I sit about 1.5" lower (so I don't bump my head anymore) and the seat wraps around my back and butt real well.

Del Sol Seats are nicer than Integra Seats.

 

someone here posted a GS leather interior and he pointed out that the bolsters are not as pronounced as GSR's or ITR's.
I can't find it on a search. Can someone post it please?
I want to compare.

 

Leather seats are the same. Cloth seats have different patterns, maybe that's what he was reffering to?

 

I must have been hallucinating at the time. I am still searching for that pic almost my entire lunch break now.

Its kinda flat. The GSRs stick out more on the sides to hug your body.

 

I have a 2000 LS with (removed) cloth seats. And the ones in that e-bay pic are different than mine. Mine have more of a hump on either side towards the front of the seat.

But really, get Del Sol seats. You won't regret them!

 

Now, the whole purpose of this thread is about the leather seats I want to buy which came from a GS. The seller cannot confirm if it is the same as GSR leathers. He said there are bolsters but I can't be sure unless he sends me a picture which he couldn't provide.
It's a pretty good price but I dont want it if its like the one ebay link I posted (flat bolsters). Urrgggghhhh

I give up.

sorry i cant help, but dont listen to these guys, the leather seats are nice...if youre getting a good deal on them that is...but if you are looking for something performance wise, i dont think the leathers would help...biut theyre still nice!

 

No they are not the same. RS/LS/GS seats are all the same seat pattern (the GS being the exception that it has the ***** on the side-bottom to adjust height/firmness), GSR/ITR seats have bigger side bolsters to hold you in some. Not much bigger, but you can definitely tell the difference between GS and GSR seats when you sit in them. In that pic from ebay look at how small the side bolsters are. Also notice how the seat isnt as bucketed as much.

1. GSR and GS leathers have the SAME part number?
2. I looked at leather seats from SE and GS at ebay and they are just as bolstered as the GSRs.

The picture I linked on ebay was from a 4door LS. Is this another exception?
I think we are learning something new here.

 

those seats are horrible! I just went out and looked at my LS seats and the seat bolsters as well as the side bolsters are much better and defined. I dont know if they are better than a GSR or ITR seat, but dont look like those at all.

 

Hmmm... it being a 4door might be the reason. I totally forgot about that. Since the only LS/GS tegs that I remember seing and sitting in are 4doors. Wow another small difference between the 4door and 2door.... Hehe

 

A friend of mine has a 98 GS and his leather seats are exactly like mine.

 

GS & GSR's leather are the exact same.

This probably wont help, but I have a 94 GSR sedan, they did not offer leather in 94, but the original owner had it installed. I have definitly noticed the difference between my seats and other Integras w/ leather. Mine are deeper and thinner w/ higher supports on the side, and smaller (thinner) headrests. Maby the difference is in leather vs cloth from the factory rather than GS vs GSR vs. 4dr etc.
