Adjusting Koni Yellows
Well, I got my koni yellows/ground control coilovers(ots)/ SRR rear lca's on the other day and the car aligned. The ride is little too bouncy for my liking and I was wondering how I adjust the stiffness of the shocks so I dont bounce. I see that it came with the White **** and I know where to turn them.. But, how much do I turn them and which way. The instructions they gave aren't very helpful at all.
and pictures for the hell of it
(my car is on a hill, so thats why it looks uneven)

Just play around with it 'till you get it where you like it.
Start at full hard, then back it down a quarter turn. Go out and drive, come back and move it down another quarter turn.
When you get it set to something you like leave it, just don't leave it all the way up. The shocks can blow out if left at full hard all the time.
edit: mine are set at a 1/4 turn from full hard in the rear, and 1/2 turn from full hard in the front.

always start at the firmest setting and work down to a softer setting.. since there aren't any numbers u'll just have to remember how much you turned the **** on each side by using the markings on the adjustment tool..
i used to do
daily driving: F medium, R medium stiff
track: F medium, R max stiff
but that's all driver preference... some like it the R softer than the F

Just put the little **** on that tab, and turn it in the direction of the arrow to go firmer, or the opposite way (clockwise) to go softer. From firmest to softest should be about 2.5 turns, so I usually make it all the way firm - then back off of it slightly by measuring how many turns by the points in the triangle, or making a mark on the ****. Mine is currently set at 1 turn from full stiff, so it's pretty middle of the road and I don't experience bounciness.
Another explanation could be that you didn't cut your bumpstops and could be riding on them a bit. You should just experiment and see what you like best.

Right now I have them all set to 1 full turn from firmest.
This is going to sound stupid, but what makes it less bouncy, more firm or soft?

It depends what you mean by bouncy, if you hit a bump and the car wallows all over the place like a 72 Caddilac with bad shocks, then that is too soft, so you should make it firmer.
If your car is really jittery, like every second you can feel your whole car twitching up and down, it is set too firm. I have found that the setting you have it on now is pretty good for comfort and minimal bounciness. Of course, I am running Koni coilovers with 10-11 inch H&R springs with a low spring rate (~300), so even setting it super firm probably won't make my car too jittery because of the softer spring rates.

well, it was like I could feel every little bump and the bigger ones I would actually leave my seat.
I just want it soo i dont fly outta my seat, lol
btw, it seemed that the shocks were all teh way to the softest.. cuz took me awhile to turn it all the way full

That sounds like it's too stiff, without actually riding in your car. Try to set it softer to get an idea, then firm it up until it's tolerable and you don't hit your head on the roof. Also, you don't need to have the front and back set to the same levels, you may get better results if you soften up the front to absorb some shock and make your rear shocks a little more firm.
It should only be 2.5 turns from full to soft, and it's pretty easy to turn, so I don't know why it takes awhile to turn it to firm.
Did you cut your bumpstops? or leave them full length?

no idea, i had a shop install because my rear bolts were seized so i needed them cut and needed to lca's.. i'm going to go make the front more soft and take a ride brb

Jack the car up and take a look at your bumpstops (assuming you don't have dustcovers), it's very possible that on some bumps your car is riding on the bumpstops and causing it to be really bouncy. That should go away if you cut them or raise the car up enough that it isn't using the poor little bumpstop as a spring.
That's a bumpstop (pic by .RJ), its a tan hard rubberized foamish thing on the shock shaft, given how low you have it, I would have cut about an inch off of that skinny section at the bottom.
Do you just have normal GC spring rates? Do you ever hear any clanging when hitting bumps?

yeah, it actually is. I just never went outside to go see how its done, lol.
Basically, front turns 1 1/2 turns and rear turns 2 full turns.
I want it so my car doesnt bounce over every bump. What should it be set too?
Right now I have it on the softest setting. I tried bunch of settings but they all feel the same to me, heh

A little too late for that, he would then have to sell his rear Konis and get some for the ITR. The ITR LCA and regular Integra LCA are completely different.
And like I said before, you really need to check and see if your bumpstops were cut or not. If they weren't, and you are that low, then cut them. If you don't want to cut them, raise the car up, it should cure some of your bumpiness.

yeah, I'm def. going to raise it back up. It's raining today, so bleh to that. Like, I can take it being semi bumpy, but flying over every bump and having my friends not even be able to even talk on the phone is crazy. bleh, this sucks.
