WHICH ONE SHOULD I USE FOR MY LSVTEC. I KNWO THE VTEC CONTROLLER LETS ME TUNE MY ENGINE. BUT WHAT DOES A SAFC DO TO MY LSVTEC IF I GOT IT IN THERE.

HELP ME OUT I SEARCHED AND COULD NOT FIND THE LIGHT

 

vafc and safc are the same things...the vafc just has a vtec controller option to move your vtec point.

 

yeah....so vafc, so you can adjust the x-over at will!

let me aks you this. why would moving my vtec engage point lower benefit me.? lol

 

it helps run a smoother "powerband" for your motor....on a dyno is where you will really see this.

umm let me try to explain, if youve ever seen a few dynos youll probably notice that on its climb to the right, theres usually a little dip, then a steep uphill spike right where the vtec x-over point is.....vtec controllers are made to eliminate that dip, and smoothen out the power in the motor.

 

o yeah i have seen that n alot of dynos. they have a sdip and then they scoop to make more power.
