it came on last night , i was cruising at 45, gas is half tank , filled up 3 days ago, it is gone now, was wondering if the code is stored somewhere, i took the passenger side carpet out. there is a red light that is blinking, but i don't know what it means. please help

 

If the check engine light went off when you cut the car off,
Most likely the code is for the O2 sensor...
Counts the blinks and you can go from there..
