What to do with them? I have just put in a set of black Recaro's and love them... Now what do i do with the stock seats? Sell them? Keep them for some reason?
I have a desire to keep them but they will never go back in the car and to store them would be a waste because they will only rot in my garage... Any one get their car back as a theft recovery and want to buy some perfect seats?

For sentimental reasons... keep.
for financial reasons... sell.

 

I kept mine They are now back in the car

 

I'd also keep them, but I'm sure you could get a pretty penny for them on eBay.

Plus, future wise..its nothing like having all the stock o.e parts to your R

$700.00 for my fronts on ebay
$200.00 for my rear on ebay

 

i just bought a mint set of 2001 itr front seats for 750. you can get alot for them depending the condition of them.

 

Let me know if you decide to sell....i may just pick them up from you

They are mint cond... The car had 60k on it when i got it and i put the recaro's in right away.. Thats why i hate to part with them

 

I sold my stocks when I had an R (I think I got $600 for them). But anyways, replacing the stock seats with the black JDM Recaro's is one thing, it's not like you're slapping in full buckets. From the standpoint of sensibility, I don't think it makes any sense to keep them.

I am glad i asked all of you....I need to get off my high horse and just sell them..
Its just that i have kept every stock part as a " just in case " ...
I know if i store the seats they will just get trashed...

 

Hhhmmm this is why i have kept all my stock parts.... Andrew is selling the cone less motor less trans .... So, i am in hold untill i hear back from him..
