What would you guys recommend on a budget of about 600 bucks? Thought this would be the best place to post this. Tell me what camera you have a and give a pic to show the quality!

You don't need that much money to get a good camera.
Canon has the best point-and-shoot cameras right now with the right features and the least number of flaws.
I would recommend the A80 or A95.
They can be had for pretty cheap now-a-days.

you may want to try http://www.dpreview.com, there is a buying guide there, and you can enter different parameters you're interested in, including price range, and get a list of cameras, some with in depth reviews, to look at.
If you want a good camera make sure you follow these few must haves unless you don’t care about a great camera.
1. Depending on what you’re taking pictures of, which looks like cars. The higher the Mega Pixels the better for blowing up a picture. Also the higher the Mega Pixel, you can always downsize to make the picture even cleaner and crisper. If you are just putting the pictures online and don’t care about anything else you don’t need a high Mega Pixel.
2. If you some one who wants to just go out and take pictures every once a wile, don’t spend all your money on the Info LITHIUM Battery. If you’re going to be using your camera allot and want a good long charge that will allow for long use and for video recording get an Info LITHIUM Battery. If you’re traveling there are both pros and cons to each battery. The Info LITHIUM has to be charged but will last quiet a bit longer than any double A. If you don’t have time to charge the batteries then a double A will be awesome for you.
3. All the special effects on the cameras these day you need to do a little research but, it’s all simple stuff. Just look for the simple ones such as macro, video, and the standard photo. But you can figure that all out yourself.
4. If you’re buying a camera that you want to last buy a good 1 the first time out, not latter. Yes 1 year from now your camera will prob. be out of date, but that’s life.
Some things to look for would be an all glass lens when looking for clear and crisp pictures. Not a Half glass half plastic, say not to the CRAP!!!!!! Size is also a nice thing to go for these days, but if you’re trying to get a good camera you will tend to lose some things such as size due to lens or anything that makes it an awesome camera.
5. ***SERVICE PLANS***
Depending on where you go. I would recommend getting 1. I know allot of people think there a rip off but some times they will save you your $600.00 or what ever you spent on your camera. A former BEST BUY employee in cameras hahahahah lol They will some times replace the camera; they will fix it and replace the batteries and also will cover you international so think about it.
If you have the money look up allot of cameras and buy the one that will best fit your needs and will do what you really want.
Sorry so long lol
