Default What heat range plugs for High Compression JDM ITR

I have a 96 b18C-R with a spoon s layer headgasket and supertech flat top valves. I keep getting mixed answers about what heat range I should use. Here's some more info about my motor:

Skunk2 stage 2 cams, skunk 2 titanium valve springs and retainers, skunk2 adjustable cam gears, rc 310 injectors, AEM fpr, hondata im gasket, Toda 421 header, walbro 355 lph fuel pump, hondata s100 P28 ecu.

Thanks for your help!

stock JDM = NGK #7, so you can go for #8.

Thanks! Does anyone know a good place to purchase them? All the local auto parts stores only sell the 7's. Should I stick to the double platinums or the iridiums? They both cost the same. I heard the iridiums last longer.

That's correct for the versions with Iridium tip + platinum ground.

Ok, I just got off of the phone with NGK Technical Support. They recommended that I get the BKR8EIX iridium plugs over the double platinums. I guess I'll try them out.

Yes 8. It's a JDM ITR motor that requires the 7 range. I bumped the compression with a 2 layer spoon head gasket and supertech flat top valves. I keep getting mixed answers on which plugs to get since the compression bump. Some say 7 most say 8. I guess there's only one way to find out.

Don't get that one. That's the version without platinum tipped ground, just like the Denso IK plug.

If you want Iridium center + platinum ground, get the IFR7G-11 or IFR8G-11 if this one exists.

They don't make a IFR8G-11. Are there any other choices? Will the 7G-11's be ok with my compression? This is becoming a pain in the ***!

going a little off topic now but:

say... if you have tuned the A/F ratio on your car... with 7degree plugs and you decide to use 8 degree plugs... would you gain/lose/even power?

I'm using Denso IK22 in my 96spec ITR which are heat range 8 and gapped to 0.8mm (as standard) but i have them gapped to 0.9mm and have no problems with them.
