Hey,

I'm looking to convert my BB2 4th Gen. Prelude over to JDM Specs... I know that the JDM BB1/BB4's Preludes have a rear wiper, but I am not sure how to get my hands on one of them. I've been thinking of using the Acura Integra rear wiper... But I before I get too far ahead of myself, I have a few questions:

1.) Does anyone know how/where I could get the JDM 4th Gen. Rear Wiper Assembly?
2.) How exactly does it operate? Does it function when the front wipers are used or does it have a separate dial/switch?
3.) If I can't get the rear Prelude wiper...
Which rear wiper assembly would work better with the 4th Gen. Prelude Rear Window... the 94+ integras, the generation just before that (91?-93), or you have any other ideas??

I have seen one on eBay. The wiper system looked like it came up from the speaker pannel in the back window. The set came with the wiper assembly, the pannel in the back window, and the entire back window. I don't remember anything about the wiper switch.

I have never seen a site that sells it. You could try emailing them or calling them to see if they can get it for you.

 

1. Ebay. I've seen those things everywhere. Wait around long enough and you'll find it. In the meantime, kill time by changing to digital climate control
2. I think it runs when the front wipers are used.
3. I wouldn't try it with the integra wiper. The shape of the glass is different and you'd end up changing the limits of the wiper's motion and it would be a pain in the ***. See #1.
