Default alignment after spring and shock install

hi. i was talking to a friend of mine and i was tellin him im dropping my car soon and he told me to wait about 3 weeks after the instal of the springs and shox and then get the alignment. so the springs and everything have settled and it wont go out of alignment again. so should i wait the 3 weeks, or should i just get the alignment at the time of the install...or will it settle sooner? if i were on my stock tires i would wait the 3 weeks but im on my pirellis and the tread wear rateing is 160 or 180 and im afraid it will wear alot if i ride around with out it being aligned. thanks in advance

you dont have to wait.. get it done right away...

if you have to "wait till the springs settle" then take the cheap springs back.. they are all pre-loaded/rated and if they have to settle, then you bought some cheap springs and take them back, get some quality..

install those shocks and springs.. and get an alignment

(hate to soudn like a knowitall but i have seen a documentary/show on makeing springs for cars and stuff and they said that it's a way for makers of cheap springs to pass off lower quality)
