I have a customer that asked me about which to choose and i really didn't have a great answer for him. obviously he will need more than just cams such as better valvetrain and gears and dyno time but i'm looking for opinions from people who have either. the car has an aem cold air intake and a JG/Edelbrock header. its a 97 integra gsr

sorry I have no dyno - but I was at APG (in albany ny) comparing the spoon cam (actually made by honda for spoon)to a crower and the craftmanship of the grinds and the cuts look real crappy (uneven) inbetween the lobes (maybe not the most important place but...) BTW it was a crower turbo vtec cam compared to spoon cam (n/a much like a CTR/ITR cam) I too would go skunk2 (which I have seen before) I don't know if you know about the skunk stage 2 and 3 cams - ImportReview is tuning some 3's on a built GSR motor - I think when all is said and done we might see 250 WHP
!!!!!! and 160 tq - you can see his post here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=117558, he told me he expects around 20 more whp with hondata and SMSP header and some others

well crower has been making cams for decades i'm sure they built a reputation or else they would not be around this long, i have crower 4303's NA drag cams for my car and they feel EXTREMELY strong above 6k. i have heard of early skunk cams that wore out rockers.... that might be something to look into, although i heard skunk has since solved the problem.
