intermeadite shaft qestion

is the intermeadite shaft the same size on an auto tranny and stick?the motor is a b18b going into my EF

Auto and manual are different.

So the intermediate shaft from my b18b<U>auto</U> tranny will NOT work a <U>manual tranny </U>matched up to the same engine? Im doing a manual tranny swap, then swaping the whole thing into the hatch.
