What problems can accer(sp?) with a bad/wrong ecu?? right now im hoping that my car not starting (feels like theres no gas going in) and having my brake lights stay on is because of the wrong ecu...please correct me and this

see if the ecu is throwing codes. my brake lights just did the same thing. is it possible the brake lights stuck on ran down your battery?

 

When brake lights stick on,it is usually the brake light switch..

There is a small rubber bumper on the
pedal arm which pushes the switch that crumbles into pieces..

I replaced it with a 5/16" bolt..

 

that's exactly what i did.
