Default Trouble shifting into 2nd gear.

Hey guys,

My ITR reached 1034kilometres tonight, finally taking it for it's first service in the next few days.

Since i don't regularly go TOO hard on the car since i got it, i only noticed tonight that it's a real bitch pulling it into 2nd gear when you shift from 1st at HIGH RPMS.

At low rpm's it's fine but say going to 2nd from 1st at 8000rpm's it's a real bastard to force the bugga into 2nd. Is this normal?

It WILL go in but i'm trying to shift quickly to 2nd but it still takes probably 3 times longer to shift to 2nd than it does to 3rd or 4th for example. (when shifting at high rpms)

I thought it might be that it's already going too fast by the time you reach redline in 1st gear that it dosn't like going into 2nd? I dunno.. i'm still quite new to manuals. (Some of you guys do it so cool in these videos that are posted)

Either way, i came home tonight with a really sore arm. I looked like an idiot in front of my passenger trying to force it into 2nd quickly all night...

.... help? Anyone?
