oil in plug cylinders
The last two times i changed my spark plugs I found oil in where the plugs are. Is this a bad sign, how would oil get in there, what should i check for?
the last time i changed th eplugs i also changed the valve cover gasket and the ring gaskets around each of the plug cylinders, but some oil still got in there.

What engine do you have?
Some engines, like the D16a6 or D15b2 also have
o-rings under the rocker arm assemblies..

oops i had that in the title and removed it for some reason...
JDM b16 g1 from an SIR.
I thought th enew ring gaskets that go around the plug cylinders would stop any oil from getting in there but there was still some when i checked. The new gaskets fit very snug.

look here. the leak is from 99% your spark plug tube seals..which is what ya bought. they dont need any gasket sealer or any silicone liquid gasket. when u install them make sure your valve cover is clean of oil and the surface on the valve cover(where the seals sit on) o. and the other 1% is a cracked head in the plug hole!( for that to happen id win the lotto!)
