Default Shops In Norcal For A Motor Swap?

sorry, i tried asking this in Classifieds but it ends up on page 3 in 10min.

I need a place somewere between sacramento and maybe redding (i'm in chico) to get a swap done.

It's just a simple JDM d15b full swap into a '94 civic hatch.

I got a quote from a shop in Sacramento for $950 for labor seems terribly overpriced for the difficulty of the swap.

Please reply here with any recommendations or PM me. Thanks.

thanks, yeah bay area is about 2 1/2 hours from home so it really depends on the time it'd take to do. that would probably be one of my final places to look if i don't have any luck.

And thanks for the PMs, appreciate it. Keep em coming so i can check a few places out.

Was it Motorsport Dynamics? I've purchased probably 90% of my products from Motorsport without any problems. They've also done a lot of installs and tuning for me, and I've had no complaints. They're a little expensive, but their work is warrantied.

Theres no better way than to do it yourself. It will teach you a lot about your car, and the motor, and allow you to do other things in the future, like minor repair, maintenance and trouble shooting.

Theres lots of people in Chico that can help. Let me know....Im in Chico too...
