Default Lowered Car w/Springs - Now why is it so bouncy?

Well I searched for 15 some odd minutes & couldn't find crap so here goes...

I just got the Neuspeed Race Springs, it dropped me 2" in front & 1.75" in the back & the ride is really bouncy. I am running stock shocks/struts b/c I wanted to see if they would handle it ok, & apparently they do not lol. Im thinking of getting a set of KYB AGX Adjustable's & maybe this will fix it. What do you guys think? Whats making it bounce so much? Bad shocks/struts? thanks alot, i appreciate it!

spring rates... and worn struts.

the spring rates arn't that big of a deal, but the fact that you've lowered your strut more, you loose that much travel, and your seals could be bypassing alittle.

you need new struts.. it'll make a HUGE differance.

Lowered car + stock shocks = crappy ride. Get some better shocks and your ride should improve.

So which would be better... the KYB GR2 shocks or the AGX Adjustable's?

id cut your bump stops down and see how the ride is then(unless you really want new struts). i got stock struts with neuspeed race springs, thats all i ran for the last 4 years on my cars. when you lowerd the car you shortend the travel of the strut(im sure you know this) but when you dont cut the stops they at that closer to bottoming out on the strut, so without cutting these at least in half you'll still get a bouncy ride with new struts because it will still be bottoming out..

So is it me or does it seem like hes just riding on the bumpstops? before you buy shocks it might be a wise idea to trim them.

'race' springs are a little too stiff for daily driving imo (even worse when you using your stock struts). 'street' springs are usually more comfortable.
