Hi,

I have a 4th Gen Civic, 1990 GL and its now time to think about some lowering springs for it. Ive heard somewhere that all civic springs from 88-00 will fit. Can anyone confirm this being 100% true. If you would be kind and have a look at those 2 auctions and would let me know if they would fit my 1990 hb i would be v happy!

Cheers

Is the GL the 4 door?

You shouldn't use 92+ civic springs on your 88-91,as they are differnt.

Any 88-91 spring should be fine.

I'm not sure of any shops over there but you could alway contact these guys as they are a SPAX dealer and ask them for info.

Yes I can confirm this..I have ordered Springs before, which sold all over e-bay you can find using this search:

click on this link. http://motors.listings.ebay.co...mList
then type in "civic 88-91" and all of the spring sets will show up for your car.

* lowering springs are limited to only this these years 88-91
* coil over/sleeve type are the whole range from 88-00, including acura integra years.

If you were to look at a set of front springs for a 88-91 and 92-00 the diameter i believe is bigger. however, the rears are exactly the same.

good luck.
