Default Gauge Cluster removal

Just wondering how i get my cluster out, if i have to remove my whole dash (from climate control to driver side air vent I have a 91 GS) or if the cluster pulls right out. I just need to get back to the bulbs behind the cluster and climate control. I want to paint them amber to get that JDM look

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks alot

first remove the bezel(should have a screw on the top of it...facing down) then pull on it/
then with that out you'll have 3 screws 1 left 1 right 1 top...then bam take it out

thats how it is in dc tegs

Yes the bezel does have 2 screws on top of it, but i have removed those before, but the way i tugged on it, it felt like the whole dash configuration had to come out with it. Im nervous to pull out the whole thing, but if i want to get to my climate control, im going to have to. Cause what it looks like, the bezel is connected to the whole front dash piece, ill take a picture later tonight and have it up.

But if anyone who has a DA has pulled there cluster before, post it up.

Im actually at work right now, and wont be able to start the project til saturday.

But thanks alot Njandrewg for the bulb reply Are there certain size bulbs i need or all they all universal?

i used these directions

Im going to have to post up a picture, because i believe, well from what it looks like, my bezel is attached to my front dash piece.

But thanks for the bulb links.
