dont' listen to what everyone says...the lighter the better, and u make power everywhere.

peep this out! https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=54704

if u have an integra you might have starter problems.
im getting a clutchmasters. If money is an issue try a Fidanza.

you'll lose a bit low end (rotational inertia), but the car will rev better at high rpms... and shoot to redline in the blink of an eye when you rev with no load... i honestly didn't see too much in the way of a significant power gain with my Fidanza though...

yeah its parasitic drag its just like a lighter valve train it just frees power to the wheels instead of producing it.

well....I run and sell only clutchmasters (same as Fidanza) and I use and sell the 8.5 lb flywheels. as for power....I noticed a big difference in my ZC, and even more when I added a turbo. the light flywheel WILL help with turbo applications more so than NA. especially in VTEC equipped cars, the light flywheel will hamper at times. torque may suffer a bit. in Turbo apps, the lighter flywheel will spool up quicker and stay up longer. this comes from CM.

as far as better.....hmmm....like I said, I use CM and have used them for years. they are the same as Fidanza! and CM is cheaper Fidanza makes CM from what I heard from CM The CM/Fidanza flywheels are billet, solid billet. the JUN flywheels are lightened....holes cut in them. the full pieces are usually a safer bet. the CM/Fidanza stuff is all SFI or whatever that goverment standard is...approved

He may have been referring to the fact that some people have had starter/flywheel grinding when using the JUN flywheel. There was an issue with the flywheel not matching up with the USDM starter. Not sure if this has been corrected.

sorry:
"JUN flywheels are 200% stronger than stock flywheels. The JUN flywheel is made from a one piece forging using the special grade of steel known as chromoly. By forging a chromoly flywheel, JUN eliminated unnecessary weight making the turning inertia smaller."

hey
you have an itr? the itr flywheel is like 12 lb right? why bother with an 11 lb one, go all out with an 8 or 9 lb one i have a 8lb clutchnet in my b16. screams like a bitch. but you do loose a little torque down low. talk to ben@importparts. was around 300~ for mine.

I'm using a 7.5lb fly, and love it. CM, Fidanza, same thing.

The stock ITR flywheel is ~2lbs lighter than all other integras. My stock GSR flywheel was ~18lbs.
