This is my first post so go easy on me. I am considering buying a 97 civic EX and replacing the front clip, hood and fenders with a 92-93 prelude front end. Does anyone know if this will work? Thanks for any info

I've never heard of if it or even seen it attempted. If you have the resources to attempt it then go for it and see if it works. Post your results for future reference.

I want to know how delludevtec thinks this is the wrong forum you are posting about a 97 civic ex and this is for EG+ Civic / Del Sol which if I'm not mistaken a 97 is a EK which fits perfectly into this catagory!

 

I have the resources to do it, but I was conserned with actual fit and chasis design. I am not sure if the two cars have compatible frames. And I don't want to spend the time and money just to figure out that it won't work due to space issues. I have never seen it done either, that's why I want to do it. I like the front end of the prelude, but the asthetics of the Civic overall.
