Default ? about Mugen Twinloop

I drive a '00 Civic hatch and may be able to get a deal on a Mugen Twinloop axleback for an eg. I've heard that eg and ek axleback sections are interchangeable, so I'm pretty sure an eg twinloop will bolt up to an ek, but does anyone know if the dimensions of the twinloop (piping, muffler, etc.) and the placement of the hangers are exactly the same for the eg and the ek? I just want to make sure that if I get an eg one it will sit perfectly.

if it's a good enough deal then you should buy it, have it hacked and welded to fit w/new hangers.

I thought about it, but it's not a good enough deal to justify hacking a Mugen exhaust.

i was able to get a hold of a mugen twin loop for my ej6 (aka ek coupe) but it was meant for crv applications. the hangers were a direct fit the only custom work done was to the b-pipe. i guess the only way you'll really know is to jack up your car and see if the hangers fit line up. a little custom work on a b-pipe only cost me $30 anyway...

The part numbers for EG and EK twin loop are different:

92-95 Hatch: 18000-XG5-K5S0
96-00 Hatch: 18000-XGE-K2S0

Then it's not original anymore. PLUS it won't worth as much if he's gonna sell it in the future. I would just look for something that's perfect fit.

As I remember the mugen twin loop was a tight fit on my friend's EG6 hatch here in HK. Well EK hatch may have more room
